Spear Fishing

Hey, you may want to try something new. I suggest you throw those reels aside and hold a spear instead. You know what, spear fishing is definitely a very challenging one, but it is also fun. The idea might sound prehistoric. I mean, the cave men used to fish in this manner, and I do not think that you will endeavor spear fishing.

Well, I just thought that it would be a remarkable experience if I get to catch a trout using spear. I am not good in aiming, but at least I can throw a spear. Anyway, I had to go to North Dakota just to learn spear fishing. There, I was met by the instructor who has a cautious access in the fishing camp. His skills must have been trained in the Dakota wilderness. Hey, I do not say that he is a wild one, but really, I admire his skill.

A successful spear fishing can be achieved if, and only if the waters are clear. It is advisable to fish in lakes where there is shallow water. It took me four hours to catch just one. This I was able to do so because there are many fish in the lakes. The challenge comes when there are few fish in a wide lake. Precision is very important, as well as timing. Unfortunately, I was not able to progress. The single catch I had was turned into a grilled bluefish fillet. I guess I will hold my reels instead.
